June 14, 200421 yr HelloI noticed a weird thing hapening around my add on airport (that I designed). When I leave the airport and fly away and then come back, I notice that sometimes, a wide spot around the airport looses its autogen. Very weird. I do not know what is causing this to happen. Is it because when I come back to it the drawing process of the airport is not done correctly yet autogen gets missing from a wide spot around it?Any idea?ThanksMichel
June 15, 200421 yr Hi Michel..How did you construct your add-on airport ie, did you use a typical Flatten area with SCASM textured ground polygons and place MSFS runways on them? What design tools, if any, did you use?J.R
June 18, 200421 yr HelloI used Architect2002 to design my scenery and used the flatten tool in it: multi points poly... I did not get this in FS2002. I am trying to reproduce this bug and wondering now if the weather has anything to do with it.Cheers!Michel
June 19, 200421 yr I'm not familiar with Architect. If it allows editing of your ground polygons' macro code, you might probably recover your autogen by placing a dummy rotated call immediately following the label pointed-to by the Ref Point.J.R
June 19, 200421 yr Michel, the same happens to me also sometimes but I use FSSC. There is a known bug on v2 calculation. Check out v2 values in RefPoint() instructions on taxiway lines, especially holdings which should be more or less correct. Still, when I correct v2 values, the problem may reappear but less frequently. Hope it helps!Best regards,Goran BrumenFS Slovenija 2002 teamhttp://slovenia.avsim.net
June 19, 200421 yr Hi GoranSounds like a clue to me. Yup I will check this out for sure. I am also suspecting the AFCAD2 file since now AFCAD generates automatically the taxilines when we create the taxiways for AI... But since my scenery overides them, I have my own taxilines traced with Architect that appear. CheersMichel
