It was an emergency landing after takeoff with no casualities. Not that sad....either the pilots knew what they were doing or the technology worked correctly

Were are you getting that info from. Cnn is still reporting they have two reports. One that it crash landed and one that it hit a hill. No reports on casulties yet. "TUNIS, Tunisia (CNN) -- An Egyptian airliner with 60 people on board is reported to have crash landed near the Tunisian capital of Tunis. The Boeing 737-500 was on a flight from Cairo to Tunis when the pilot attempted to make an emergency landing. It is not clear whether the plane landed safely or crashed during the maneouvre. Some news agency reports said it had plunged into a hill. Fifty-five passengers and five crew were on board the aircraft when it went down in Nahli, in the northern part of the capital, about six kilometres (four miles) from the airport. Some on board are reported to be alive and have been taken to hospital. The control tower had lost contact with the plane a few seconds earlier, just after the pilot sent out a distress call, The Associated Press reported. Weather was foggy and rainy at the time of the incident, with sandstorms blowing in from the Sahara Desert. ""

MSNBC was talking with a guy who was at the airport talking to officials on the phone. I usually hate MSNBC but happened to to be on that channel. He said that officials were saying no casualities and emergency landing.

On cnn Tv (not website) i just saw 20 people are thought to be dead .Conditions where rain and thick fog. The flight was from cairo on a boeing 737-500.Just after that I saw on the ticketer that a China airlines plane has reported to crash into the ocean with 112 people on board.i did not see what sea or what area this flight was in but i did see it departed from bejing ( spelling ? ).More to come iam sure :-(as soon a i walked off there was more new coming in.it did not crash into the sea.It crashed 280MI from beijing after takeoff as CNN is reporting It is a china northern airlines plane.A fire was reported in the cockpit and then it disappeared off the radar. This new is just now coming in on CNN so Iam proboly alittle off on this a 1:20pm EST.They are just now actually doing a report on this rather than having the info on the ticketer.
