I've read some articles similar to this and I'm surprised at how much things can change over the course of time--decades ago, even if the Captian was out of line, it was his plane. Now-a-days, it seems more of a team effort, where the FO has much more authority in difficult situations.Interesting. :-)[hr color=gray]http://home.earthlink.net/~snyders2000/deb.jpg

That's because they have realised the problem and have put much more emphasis on Crew Resource Management.
