Which effect file do you use for lighting with the FS2004 gamepack?

Featured Replies

I'm trying to create ramp lighting using effect files and the FS2004 gamepack. For those who are not aware, the old trick of using the name "light_land" doesn't work using the FS2004 gamepack. Instead, FS seems to be moving towards effect files. I have been able to place these by using the attach script in GMAX, but I can't seem to find a good light for illuminating my ramp. All I can find are lights that are single points of light. Has anyone managed to find a good effect file for lighting?- Martin

Saw this the other day. I'm not sure if he's talking about actual XML lighting or just a custom ground texture/effect file he created and placed with XML.http://members.optushome.com.au/projectbne/main.htmlGo to "NEWS" and see post dated 12/8/2004 7:55AM If he did find the FS9 vesion of light_land then I hope he shares it with the rest of us!!! Rellek
