February 1, 200521 yr Following up on my post on using models to create animated objects -I have created a very simply "wave pool" using FSDS. It is simply a series of shallow 3d triangles that are animated using the AnimatedTimed feature. However, as I have seen before, the progress of the waves is not smooth, but slightly jerky. I have even tried putting them out in the middle of the ocean to minimize the impact of nearby scenery.Any ideas as to how to make this work better? AnimatedTimed seems to work okay for rotating parts, such as radars. But perhaps that is just because changes in angular speed are not as obvious as changes in straight line speed.Phil
