April 30, 200521 yr I know this is not strictly scenery design but it is tied up with it.I have created an airport on a fictitious island and put a control tower on it. I have used Afcad2 to place the runway etc.. I read that in Afcad you can set the Tower View by inserting the tower into the plan.I used to set the tower view in previous versions of Fs by slewing to the tower height and position but that doesn't seem possible now.Can any one help, please? There doesn't seem to be any info on it in FS9 and I have searched the forums without any luck.
May 1, 200521 yr Hello Don,In FS9, View Options, you can select Tower View. Or if you just right click the FS display you get a pop up menu with the View Options. The viewpoint will go to the location you entered in AFCAD. And if you have designed the tower you can get this type of view:http://www.ptsim.com/madeira/mad809.jpgRegards, Luis
May 1, 200521 yr Thank you Luis for your quick response. I will try what you suggest. However in the meantime I have found a program 'MyFsTools' which has enabled me to get the view I wanted. Thanks again for the advice.
