May 26, 200521 yr Hi folksThis may be old hat to some of you, but this just dawned on me yesterday as I was doing an entire airport perimeter in GMAX:Trying to be ultraprecise on larger models in GMAX often makes me pull my hair in agony because of the viewport setup. What I figured out is this: To maintain a fixed perspective regardless of how much moving about you do, simply make a plane just below 0 meters and texture the plane with your background image, thus substituting the background image with a simple temporary models that always sits where you want it. Also, you'll no longer get huge temporary image files.Hope this helps one or two of you.Cheers,Dasher7
