Hi,To be sure...Can I use a background image in GMAX as a guidance (map) in order to locate buildings, roads, ... in my case a fence because all the sections had to be fit together ? What about orientation ? The scale. Are there some problems to expect ? How do I delete/ignore the background image before exporting and testing ?Greetz. Jos

Hi,Placed a background image in top view GMAX but how to lock ? There is a "Background Lock Toggle" item in a list. But how does it work ? Jose'I find it easiest just to map the background image to a simple plane. Then I can move, scale, rotate and freeze it as necessary. When I export, I just select only the objects I want in the BGL and "Export Selected".Lou
