Can't help ya with the "gauge cleaner" but I can provide some insight into the 256MB->512MB transition, as I just did this on my computer a couple days ago. You will notice less disk swapping and your fps should stabilize a bit, but you won't see much of an fps increase per se.Max Cowgill

Thanks Max. I'm not expecting FPS changes, just wanting the snap views to appear quicker so that I can look around without waiting for the image to reload.
