Displaying lights in FS9 created in Gmax

Recommended Posts

I am having trouble displaying lighting in the airport I designed using Gmax. The lighting displays fine in Gmax but not in FS9. I would like to use lighting in place of creating night textures and to provide a more realistic layout of the airport. Any help would be appreciated.

Gmax lights are not supported by the sim. Only bgl_light commands and bgl_effects or attach points. That is why you use a night texture ( *_lm.bmp ) in concert with the commands that are supported.Lou

Don't know if this is what we're looking for but I think rwy12 has a library called ramp lights. This throws lights right onto the ground very well! it has single pole, double light, quad lights. Maybe you were talking about something else. If so - disregard! :) Bob
