Two questions: 1) How can the panel lighting be dimmed, and 2) how can the parking brake indication be deleted? I have done both following someone's instructions some months ago but now, for a new installation, I cannot remember what I did.

Hey Puddle,;-)1. Use the brightness knob on the monitor :-lol2. Under [sIM] heading, enter "Show_brake_message=0" (no quotes).One down, one to go!

Just a thought, but have you considered releasing the parking brake? ;)
