SBuilderX and Google Earth

Recommended Posts

Q-1Is there a suggested procedure to follow when creating a photo real scenery for a large area? I would assume that the area should be broken down into smaller areas. But how small?Q-2SBuilderX was crahing on large areas so having decided to work on smaller areas. Zoom level 15 was selected and the entire screen area was mapped. I have used several overlapping maps. The overlap is very minimal in SbuilderX and the image looks OK. Compiled the maps and placed them in my scenery folder. The end result is far from satisfactory. The attached picture should explain the problems. The Google Earth image is working perfectly on th flattened airport area. Not only the day texture but the night texture is also working. But over the mountains and the hills I am having the problemI would be grateful for your help.kthy2003
