January 15, 200818 yr I created FSX scenery entitled "Daytona International Speedway" in the AVSIM library. When flying over the area, portions of the infield area texture within the racetrack disappear for an instant creating a flashing appearance. I tried changing the texture image from 8 bit to DXT 1 with Image Tool, but it didn't improve. Can anyone explain to me, a beginner, what is wrong?The infield is a polygon just below the level of the racetrack and just above the flattened terrain, with the texture applied, created with FSDS 3.5.Art

HUGE!!The only thing that caught me eye was your poly sitting above the flattened area. How much difference is there?
