mapstobgl scenery quality

Good Afternoon fellow simmers, I recently stumbled across an article in PCPilot in reference to mapstobgl, I have always wanted to attempt to create my own scenery projects, however, time is limited.. Anyways, I successfuly created a few small areas here inb Northern ohio successfully, however, do to the long processing time, I am looking for any short-cut as to tweak the zoom rate to generate an acceptable display. Any help would be Greatly Appreciated!Eggsmstr
