LOD Leveling Question !!

Hello Gents,I have a quick Question, I created my first mesh, just having some fun, Some mountains. I did not like how they looked after doing the standard DEM face lift so I modified them a little, ie. gave them a little pick me up. I found it very frustrating after you give them a facelift or elevate them more to level them off where the LOD's meet.When you guys modify them by hand as in take them out of their original elevation points, what are some techniques that you use to level the LOD's off at the edges ??Pics of my mountains below:http://flightsimmers.net/airfield/jackknife/lcest6.jpghttp://flightsimmers.net/airfield/jackknife/lcest8.jpgCheers Jackknife................
