Recommended Posts

Hi, I have a greyscale image with 200 metres between elevation points that I want to convert to standard dem resolution (ie 7.5 secs, 3.75 secs) any ideas how I can enlarge/reduce the image to do this? Thanks David

Dear All:1 arcsec = 30 meters, so divide 200/30 = 6.667 arcsec. You can create dems with 6.667 arcsec, just assign and calculate the correct values in the *.inf doc foin use with the resample(Terrain SDK).Thanks.Alfredo Mendiola LoyolaLima Peru

Dear David:No, in some places 1 arsec is 33 meters, do research to know what is the exact measure of 1 arcsec in your area, you can know that with topographic maps with WGS84 projection. But 30 meters is the average measure of 1 arcsec, i don't think that 2 or 3 meters give you problem in your mesh terrain.Thanks.Alfredo Mendiola LoyolaLima Peru
