I seem to remember it was a relatively easy matter to exclude stock airports from scenery in old versions of MSFS, but I've even forgotten how to do that and I'm not certain it even works in FS2K2. The problem at hand is a small strip just west of Syracuse NY (KSYR) that does not appear on any sectional I own. If you think I'm being unreasonably pickly, it's because the strip seems to be at an altitude about 1000 ft above the adjacent terrain. It looks like Devils Mountain and is visible 40 miles to the north on a clear day shortly after takeoff from my home field in Ithaca (KITH). For the longest time I thought it was just a giant landfill in that general area that really is quite imposing. Following the FlightMax digital chart one day, I investigated a little more closely and found that it actually had a strip on it, while no strip exists on the sectional. The name actually popsup using the nrst function, so I could exclude it if I knew how. Anyone? Thanks!David
