May 15, 200224 yr If you slip away from the cockpit for too long and don't answer ATC you find yourself with a cancelled IFR flight plan - no fun! Is there a copilot add-on who can handle the radio for you while you're visiting with the stewardesses? Sure would be handy for those long flights!CR
May 15, 200224 yr CR,No there isn't a co-pilot ATC add-on (unfortunately). But! When you get a frequency change, acknowledge it, tune into the new frequency but DON'T contact the new centre. Upon your return from visiting the stewardesses, you can then contact centre. That way they won't cancel your plan.Or, you could get one of the those pendulum bird pecking devices and get it to hit the number 1 key repeatedly (anyone who has seen the episode of the Simpsons where Homer works from home with his computer will know what I am talking about!) ;-)Andy (YSCB)
