Mike Stones A320s crashing on approach

Featured Replies

I dont know whether this topic has been discussed before as I am a new member but I was having trouble with Mikes A320s as AI aircraft. They came onto the approach and all crashed a couple of miles out. I just deleted the air file and used the air file from the default 737,renaming it to the original (A320200.air). Since then they land as they should. Sorry if this has been discussed before.

I don't know if it has, or has not. Don't remember seeing it mentioned. My A-320s seem to dislike certain airports. At those, the aircraft will "go missed" and keep trying until it disappears because it spent all its time trying to land! But the tip you gave about the 737 airfile has helped me. I've had zero success with that technique, but you said you renamed the file to the original airfile as downloaded. That may help me.ThanksRick

I dont know if I worded my original "fix" correctly. This is what I actually did:-1...deleted the a320200.air file from the a320 main folder.2...copy/pasted the Boeing737-400.air file into the a320 main folder.3...renamed this file to a320200.air.I have not had one crash/go around since.Hope this helps

I pasted the aircraft.cfg lines of the default B737-400 into the aircraft.cfg file of the Airbus.Be sure to paste it beyond the "General" section.
