Way round the hills

Recommended Posts

Guest RONVKING

Hi Folks,Found a solution to the hills problem.Using AFCAD I changed the rwy altitude for Shoreham to 150ft instead of the default 7ft. Hey preso the aircraft landed.BE AWARE, set the lowest poss height as the higher the alt the further down the runway the actual touchdown point becomes. It seems that the aircraft aims for a new point which is above the original but continues down until it hits the actual scenery.(Hope that makes sence)Rgds Ronps tried changing the pattern height and autopilot descent rate, none of them worked. :-cool

I tried that for KPSP and i just can not get them to land unless its a really slow aircraft. They do not start thier decents soon enough and they end up 010 above the numbers and there for go around. An ATR will make it but an 737 wont. Thanks for the info though..........E.:-wave
