On approaching my destination (IFR), ATC give instructions for landing at a particular runway.I'm then vectored onto the ILS.However on finals I am handed over to the tower, who, insted of giving permission to land, give pattern instructions for the opposite end of the runway.I already asked some help to Sir Peter Dowson, and he said to pay attention on wind changes, but last night the winds were calm at KBOS and I had the same problem.I never had this kind of problem with Radar Contact.Actually, I
