ai traffic jams after landing

Featured Replies

Hi all, on some very busy airports, the ai planes that just landed gut stuck on the runway even though there are enough gates to go and enough taxiways to taxi off the rundway. This happens usually at very busy airports, see for example KDFW.Ok, ok, I loaded real AA and DL flightplans, so traffic is really very dense. But does this simply happen because MSFS can't hanlde so much traffic, or is there a bug somewhere? BTW, most of my ai planes are repaints of the default a/c.Thanks for your answersAlex

I have seen this too. I think it happens when ATC is too slow and doesn't instruct a go around in time, so an aircraft will land on top of another. Sometimes, the overrun aircraft will just sit there forever (but ATC won't care about it anymore).Martin767 fetishistIt's a lot like life and that's what's appealing

That could really be the point. I must admit, with those real-life flight plans the MS atc really has got some work to do. Is there a way to get rid of those planes sitting on the runway?Alex

Download aiview.zip. It lets you view the AI aircraft on a moving map type display, and delete them! Be advised though, AI View has a tendency to just shut FS down every once in a while.Martin767 fetishistIt's a lot like life and that's what's appealing
