2 questions about Ai aircraft

Featured Replies

in the aircraft.cfg file for the PAI aircraft, there is under "reference speeds" a line cruisespeed.I know there have been a lot of discussions about this, but this is the speed that actually controls the cruise speed?and is it in indicated or true airspeed?2)would it be possible to make a little script when you push "I", all Ai aircraft have those vapour trails cominf of their wingtips/flapsif e.g. very humid weather, you could push the I and they'd show up

It is confusing, but AI uses this as KIAS for the autothrottle.>2)would it be possible to make a little script when you push >"I", all Ai aircraft have those vapour trails cominf of >their wingtips/flaps >if e.g. very humid weather, you could push the I and they'd >show up There is a gauge now (fxgauges1.zip) doing this for you. Shameless advertising... ;) But I must admit, I have not really tested this on the AI aircraft yet. I'd wish it would work - but it doubt it. Going to test now...ckfly

I'm back. Too bad, it does not work. The AI does not use the panel at all. No chance. :(ckfly

thanks for trying.I was thinking about the fact that Ai aircraft will have contrails automatically at FL300.if we could find how the parameter looks like...
