Hey everyone. I was wondering if someone could tell me how to make my AI aircraft unselectable in the sim for me to fly. I have heard that if they are not selectable as flyable aircraft then your sim doesnt take so long to load up. I am looking for a way to disable them, so to speak, yet still have them buzzing around as AI aircraft, as Ultimate Traffic has done with their models. Is this controlled by an entry in the aircraft CFG? Thanks.

Just delete the panel folder, that does the trick normally.Peter B

There is a variable (I think it's called "aircraft type" in the .air file which controls this. Use the Air Editor program (freeware, available as "Aired" I think) to open the air file. (Sorry, I'm at work now so I can't be certain of some of these things.) I think the "AI Only" value is 2. The default of zero is flyable and AI.
