July 21, 200322 yr I have just started with AFCAD and TTools etc. I am looking for an easy to use editor to add and remove AI and set time of departure etc. I have tried out Traffic Mover which I find good, but I am getting into a muddle with GMT and local, can't seem to match it up, I know it's simple, but. Example I want a AI to take off at 13:00, do I need to set FS to GMT or something as I have local time showing in FSSorry if I'm a bit thickAnthony........
July 21, 200322 yr All entries in flightplans.txt are in GMT. AITM will display in either local or GMT, so you need to be careful about what you've chosen to look at.FS's Time screen will show time in both local and GMT, so it's easy to see what time FS thinks it is in either time system. The thing which many first-time users of TTools miss is that the first airport in a flightplan is the first Destination, NOT the first Departure. So, in the following flightplan:AC#6121,DC-3OZ,50%,4Hr,IFR,00:35:00,02:44:20,090,F,19,KSTL,02:35:00,04:44:20,100,F,18,KLITthe aircraft will DEPART Little Rock (KLIT) at 00:35:00 GMT, and ARRIVE St. Louis (KSTL) at 02:44:20.
