I can't see the AI without the cockpit

Featured Replies

I've created several flight plans now using ttools and they've been working great. I recently started a homebuilt cockpit, so I no longer need the 2D cockpit views so I've been turning them off. Unfortunately I've noticed that when the cockpit goes, so does the AI. The strange thing is that they're actually still there in every other view(i.e. spot, VC, and tower.) If I bing the 2d panel back the planes come back. How can I fly without 2D panels, but still see my ttools added AI aircraft. I currently have the AI planes in the aircraft folder of FS2004. Does some part of the aircraft file need to go somewhere else? Dan RelfeC-130 Flight EngineerUSAF

Dan, are you AI aircraft the same files you are flying? If so copy the folder and then rename the AI ones AI_C-130 etec.Go into the aircraft.cfg and addd AI to the end of the title line and your aircraft list. For the manufactorer I've renamed mine AI Military. Then remove you panel folder as it will hurt your frame rates.
