Parking Codes Question

Featured Replies

Hi all,Do the codes used for the "atc_parking_codes=" entry have to belong to a specific list of valid codes or can you make your own up?I'm having a problem with getting an AI aircraft to appear at a specific terminal. Here's the situation:Alliance Airlines (Australia) operates some domestic flights and some international flights from Brisbane, using the same aircraft.Using the parking code of QQA I have the aircraft correctly appearing at a few specific gates at the domestic terminal of the airport (gates are set to allow only QQA parking with AFCAD). The international flights should operate from the international terminal so I have added a [fltsim.1] section to the aircraft.cfg file with a different title to make it effectively a different aircraft and set the parking code to QQI and set a couple of gates of the correct size at the international terminal to allow QQI parking using AFCAD. The aircraft on the international flightplan still show up at the domestic gate (which does NOT have the QQI code set) rather than the international gate. I'm wondering if the QQI code is being ignored? Thanks in advance for any advice.Adrian

To answer my own question, yes you can make up your own codes. The problem with my aircraft not showing up was I didn't have the AI percentage high enough and wasn't actually seeing the missing flights! Doh!
