Multiple Textures, Same Airline

Featured Replies

I'm starting to get the hang of this manual AI stuff. However, I'm curious on one part. I want to install Frontier airlines with about 20 different textures (different tails). I have all of those textures installed in the two Airbus (A318/9) aircraft folders. My question is, when I edit the actual traffic file and am looking for the aircraft number, do I need to give each individual texture it's own AC#. And, after that, do I then need to edit the route text document to make sure I use all of these different texture.Right now, the traffic file is written with only two separate aircraft (the A318/9) and those two aircraft referenced throughout the route file. It seems like if I have to individually number each aircraft texture, I would also have to go in and change all of the route aircraft. Lots of editing. Thanks,

You got it! A unique title= line for each texture in the AC.txt file, and an entry for that AC# in the FP.txt file. Change the routing/times as desired.(don't forget the AP.txt file if you do) It's really not too much editing, when you consider some flightplans have hundreds of entries/legs. Just cut and paste and use ctrl-f. It makes things much easier.Hope this helped.Mike www.flightontario.comI'm confused. Wait...maybe I'm not!
