Exploring the Big Island

Featured Replies

Made a couple of exploratory flights with the Citabria and the PA-28 over the Big Island tonight. Here are a few shots for your enjoyment. I must say that Don did an excellent job with his rendering of Hawaii. The lava looks very real and beautiful from above. Keep up the good job with the other islands. Thanks again, Don. Cheers.http://www.flyskyward.com/1.jpghttp://www.flyskyward.com/2.jpghttp://www.flyskyward.com/3.jpg

Hi Danny,Great looking shots (I miss your screenies), Don has done a fantastic job on that scenery.Kind RegardsAndy

Thanks, Andy. I'm going to be working on the airports of Kona and Hilo with TerraModels to make the landings there more pleasurable. I'll upload them to AVSIM when I'm done.Cheers,

Wow! Danny, thanks. Your screen shots flatter my scenery. Thank you too Andy. This gives me some of the juice I need to work on the other islands (just as soon as I'm done with George R.R. Martin).Don

Danny,Are you also going to shift runways and taxiways in order get them overlaying Don's scenery? I planned on doing so, but if you start work on the airports you probably will do this as well.Don,Thanks for your beautiful scenery. Really big fun to fly over it.Cheers,Henri
