Alaska or any other State or Country

Is there a database withing Fly!II where I can get a listing of all the airports in Alaska? Or in any other state or country. What I would like to do is add airport scenery or taxiways to those airports that do not have anything.Keep FLYing

Hi Eagle,If you get Dexeditor from my site, one of the functions is to allow you to export a database to a .dbf file. This can be read with a lot of different programs, Excel, Access, even back to Xtree Gold!Personally I like Access because I find the filtering easier to use.Note: You cannot edit the databases for re-importing. This was done purposely so that people would use and share dex files with the rest of the community.ColinMy Hangar Site

Colin:Thanks for the response. I have tired Dexview version 1 and 1.1 (located in Miscellaneous file library directory) in Fly!II but I keep getting an error message. I would assume that your program only works in Fly2K. Is that correct?Keep FLYing

Eagle,Dexview?? That was aeons ago:-)That was a very early program, just to look at dex files.Dexeditor is a much more comprehensive program and was updated to work with Fly!2 when that came out.It is not in the library, but is available on my hangar site.ColinMy Hangar Site

Colin:I have been to your site. What Dexeditor does is explained but there is no link to download the program.

Eagle,Whoops! The link is there now :-)Colin

Thanks Colin. Got it!!!Keep FLYing
