Flight Training

Featured Replies

This prob goes in a different fourm but I know a lot of you guys have your ppl. I know I need a refresher ground course. I would like to get my ppl but I dont have a lot of money what do you guys suggest?

You should be able to find a ground school in your area for around 100 bucks. When you start your flight training only fly what you can afford. This may cost you more in the long run, but if it's all you can afford theres not much you can do about that. I'm kinda in the same situation as you. I have been flying about 1.5 to 2 hours a week. I can see that flying twice a week would be a lot better but I can't afford that right now. Enjoy, keep us informed on your progress.

I already have the ground training. I just need to read a book to get refreshed. I have the private pilot book by gleim. I dont think I even have enough money to go a hour a week.

If you want to get caught up on ground the best thing to save money is know everything, and try to memorize the book. You sure dont want to spend money on taking another test that you`veflunked on. Try to understand what the question is asking for , then understand the answer. Save up as much as you can before flying . Fly that off, then save up while your flying that off and just keep going.
