Aircraft in FS2002

Featured Replies

Hello everyone! Wow, what a great community you guys have here! I've only been browsing for a short time, but I am already impressed by what I see here. I have spent about an hour searching before posing this question, but had no luck (I've probably just overlooked it or don't know exactly what to search for to find my answer), so it's time to ask. I have seen comments about how the default aircraft in FS2002 don't have the best flight models or aren't realistic this way or that way. Is there one source that everyone goes to for updates to the planes and for add-ons? I am not a real pilot, but I am a stickler for realism. I want the planes in FS2002 to be as close to their real world counter-parts as possible. Therefore, I am looking for 'fixes' to the flight model, instruments, etc. for the planes that are already in the sim. Any help is appreciated! :)Dave

Hi Dave,I can think if you do a search in the " avsim library " for airfiles. be sure to search under FS2002 aircraft...that should work. If I remember correct there are a few to down-load. I really do not know what kind of aircraft you enjoy flying, but I am sure you will find a airfile to suit your needs. This Hobby Just Keeps Getting Better... :-yellow1Kind RegardsRobert

And also http://www.fsfreeware.com has a lot. BUT..all of us have grabbed aircraft and then tossed them out/fixed/re-did etc; part of the fun is finding what you yourself like best.

Try these sites. WWW.flightsim.com and WWW.fsplanet.com and www.feelrealflight.com :-wave :-wave :-wave :-wave :-wave :-wave :-wave :-wave :-wave
