Embraer 145 progress shots!

Featured Replies

Hi There,Here's some new Embraer 145 shots! I decided to leave it this way. It's allready to it maximum polygon number, so I can't add anything anyway. I will spend the next few weeks on tweaking and adding the exterior lightsThese are the animated parts so far;- thrustreversers - liftdumpers- flaps- paxdoor - ailerons, elevator and rudder- full animated gear and doors suspension and steering included- spinning fans

Wow!! It looks great. Will, the animated sequences work on the MAC? and what is the maximum polygon count for the aircraft? - just curious.Peter

Looking real good!

Hi Peter,I haven't got a MAC PC so I'am not able to test the model, I know that ROTW has made there TBM 700 compatable with a MAC so maybe they would like to help! This model cosists out of 9533 polygons. I know for sure that I can't go futher without getting an error message in the fly! editor.

Hi Jarno,It would be great if the ROTW team could help with the programming. Thanks for the polygon info - I may one day attempt an aircraft model myself. When you're building the fuselage, do you create 1/2 of it and then mirror the other side or do you create a series of extruded cylinders? My concern is with the area around the cockpit windows which seems like it would be very difficult - any comments? Thanks again, Peter

Good Lookin', Captain! If you need some Mac guys for beta tests, many of the original Fly II Mac beta testers are hanging out in the Mac Fly forum. If you call for testers, you'll get them! I'll have a little time over the next two weeks and can help if needed. Have broadband--can test! Thanks for your contribution!

Is there a panel that goes with it?tony
