December 21, 200223 yr Here is what to do:Go into options, then click on the realism...optionsClick on the Helicopter tab at the top of the box.Angular damping gain & Hover damping gain have a slider each and will be set to 0. Move the sliders up to 100.As you get better at the Bell407 you can move the sliders down.Any more Helicopter tips?Post them here!PS New Bell407 Splash Screens have been uploaded!!!http://ftp.avsim.com/library/sendfile.php?DLID=24136 Steve Brown "The Best Aid To Navigation, Is Having Been There Before" ;-)
December 21, 200223 yr that's not very realistic but a good way to start for novices.Love to fly the bell around, cheers
December 21, 200223 yr Very true, its not realistic but I have had a lot of Emails asking me how to set the Helicopter to a more stable or easier setting. Many have found flying the Helicopters in MSFS2002 is a lot easier than in FlyII. But the best setting for realism dont change the slider settings, for learning tho' it makes the experience more fun and one can slowly make the aircraft more realistic. Sorry if I didnt make myself clear in the beggining...the bottle of wine you know ;-)Steve Brown "The Best Aid To Navigation, Is Having Been There Before" ;-)
