Default ATC

Featured Replies

Hi,after installing the new patch, I decided to retry de default ATC.1-Load a flight plan KPHX-KDEN, click start flight plan2-Open an IFR plan with FSS3-Get the ATIS4-Obtain clearance5-Call ground asking for taxi to runway, it respond with "hold position" and it never call me back with taxi clearance after holding for 15 minutes at the gate...any hints ?JoelCYQB

I tried to recreate that... but it just went normally all the way through "cleared for takeoff" and takeoff. I even forgot to turn the transponder from "stby" and twr reminded me, and it all went smooth. I believe that there are some problems with the directory-search function of the new patch, and tried to see if fiddling a lot with that may cause your problem, but I just could not reproduce it.Art.

Did clearance ask you to contact ground ? Or you must switch manually ?JoelCYBB

Joel:Do you have Dynamic scenery eneabled? If so, that may be the cause of the problem. There's a known limitation in the dynamic scenery where if one of the AI aircraft "decides" to land at the airport where you happen to be, ATC will not let you takeoff until the AI aircraft has landed and taken off again. You can get around this by either teleporting to a nearby airport or by simply disabling Dynamic scenery.Hope this helps!Alejandro AmigorenaCheshire, CTAthlon XP 1800ABIT KR7A-RAID768Mb RAMGeForce 3 64MBSB Audigy GamerCH Flight Yoke USBCH Pro Pedals USB
