May 23, 200224 yr When practicing patial panel approaches is there any way using the program to mark the failed instruments inoprative? The help section of FS2002 claims there is a menu that allows for panel changes, but I have yet to find it. Im using post it notes right now, but I am sick of getting my monitor dirty.
May 23, 200224 yr Go to Sporty's Pilot Shop on-line. I' sorry I don't know the exact address, but any search engine will turn it up.Look for the little suction cup backed discs that say IN-OP. These are made for a standard 3" guage but you can trim them to fit the guages on your panel that appears on your monitor. My instrument instructor always had several of these in his pocket and I never knew when he was going to surprise me and stick one on the guages.Captain: I thought you lowered the gear!" First Officer: You said YOU were going to do that!"
May 23, 200224 yr I have covers for the real thing, but Im trying to get the program to do it. MS documentation claims that FS2002 can do this, but the help section reders to settings menus that dont seem to exist.Im tired of sticking things to my nice monitor. :)
May 24, 200224 yr Only Dreamfleet's Archer has this function, and it's great! Right-click on one of the primary instruments, and it's covered.http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/Previews/Arc...main_gauges.htmHave fun,PamThis space intentionally left blank.
