FlyII and Radeon 9700 ?

Recommended Posts

Guest

Hi,I've just reinstalled FlyII and successfully patched via 210 to 240 on my new machine:AMD 2400+Asus A7N8X (n-force2 chipset) mobo with 768 Mb and on-board soundRadeon 9700 Pro, 128 MbBut I'm unable to get the graphics working - smearing and flashing all over the screen. As it's been some time now since I used FlyII, I turn to you guys for advice.Any hint will be appreciated :-)Meanwhile I'm searching the archives and FAQ's...Kind RegardsTommyESMH

Change "vertexIndexFormat=0 "line in the Render.ini to "vertexIndexFormat=1". This will do the trick.tony

Hi Tony,Many thanks for your fast response. I followed your advice but did it the other way around :-)(Change "vertexIndexFormat=0 "line in the Render.ini to "vertexIndexFormat=1")As my render.ini setting was already "1" by default I took a chance and hoped that you had justed typed it the other way around, changed it to "0" instead - and it worked!!Great to be back with FlyII again!Kind RegardsTommy
