P-51 and torque/slipstream effects...

Recommended Posts

Guest jcomm

First of all let me start by:MERCIE BEAUCOUP ROTW!!!!for the splendorous P-51 you gave us!!!I didn't have much time to fly it because I had a lot of problems to solve during this weekend, but I intend to dedicate a LOT of time to it as soon as pressures starts reducing...One thing I have noticed is that, with the FM options set as indicated in the manual, I get - apparently - no slipstream effects or even torque, either during takeoff or while flying. I can advance the throttle abruptly flying at low speeds and there will be no yawing at all, which I believe is a factor on the real thing, particularly at slow speeds and/or high AoA.Question is: is it not modelled at all (maybe because Fly2's FM is not prepared to do it?), or am I doing something wrong?Best wishes!
