How do I bring Nice's runways closer to land?

Featured Replies

Rotw's NIce scenery is fantastic. However, the taxiways act as water rather than land, and the aircraft sinks when taxiing. I guess there's a displacement between the land coordinates and the airport. Any solution?tony

Download the new elevations data from Beralex on our site : it contains a correction for Nice water.Yves

what a great job, thanks Yves!tony

Yves, while everything lines up perfectly, the taxiways are still seen as "water" by FLY2. Is there any way to change the association, so that FLY2 does not think it's in water?tony

There is a utility called the "ground-type transformer" that should let you change the ground tile underneath and place the runway on hard ground. But be advised, that it is not a coastline editor, so there will still be a disparity between what is displayed as water, and what actually is water.

Just take a look at this topic : go down and you will find the answer from Colins. There is a file to download and everything will work fine. http://ftp.avsim.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboa...19&viewmode=allBest regards,Yves, Simvol.

Tony,Don't Worry:You'll find here: http://docmorbid.free.fr/V005162.GTP the file to place in a Coast folder created in Fly!. And Nice will be O.K.!

thanks, Doc. thanks everyone.tony
