For Wayne Roberts

Featured Replies

Wayne,For some time now I've enjoyed the "fruits" of your efforts in enhancing numerous airports for Fly II. Can't tell you how much more enjoyable the sim is with populated airports to arrive at and depart from. A request, sometime in the future could you work your magic on KCHS, KSAV, and KSTP?Thanks again for your contributions to the hobby.Jim

Hi Jim:Thanks for your kind comments. As soon as I finish the project that I am working on I will do your airports.

Say, has Mr. Roberts done any enhancing of Alaska, or Hawaii airports? I would love to hear where they can be found. And even if they arn't, Hay! Thanks Wayne! :-)

Wayne,Many thanks.Jim

I have done some airports in Alaska. Can't do anything with the ones that are in the water.

Great! Are they in the avsim library?

WayneWhich Alaskan airports are in the water?Colin

Hi Colin:I believe one of the runways at Juneau is in the water and there are several others. If you are asking the question because you will correct them I can make a list. I wanted to do all the airports in Alaska, but because of the water problem I only did those that did not present a problem.

Hi Wayne,If the runways themselves are out of position then that is easily fixed in the databases and passed to everyone else with .dex files. If the coastline is wrong then that's also fixable, just takes a bit longer :)Colin

Thanks Colin. That is something I don't care to tackle at this time. If someone else would like to and provide me with the files I will do the airports.
