Socata for mac not working, why?

Featured Replies

Hello, I am sure some of you have seen my previous post on this topic. I tried everything, EVERYTHING!!!!! BUT IT STILL DOES NOT WORK!!!!!I went through the instruktion manuel and everything seems so perfect about the plane! I just wish I could use it!If some serious investigation were to go into this, I am sure a solution would soon be found. I am sure that I am not the only one who is having problems with this.

It works on my Mac, but others have reported issues. As I recall, you are certain that you downloaded the Mac version. The PC version .dll files won't work. If you're not certain, the Mac version is here: http://library.avsim.net/sendfile.php?DLID=19126The proper path for the Socata dlls is: Hard Drive>FlyII>Modulesand nothard drive>FlyII>System>ModulesNote the difference. There are two Modules folders. The Socata dlls go in the Modules folder at the same level as the Fly application, not the folder of the same name in the Fly system folder. The later is reserved for a Python fileThe three required dll files for Mac are:TBM Fuel Temp.dllTBM Torque Gauge.dllTBMInertialSeparator.dllIf your dlls have underscore characters "_" between parts of the names, then you have downloaded the PC version. The right files in the right place usually lets the TBM work. It's become my favorite aircraft for medium-length trips.
