Heeeelp, with ch throttle pro ....and xp

Featured Replies

I was test flying my electra when something happened to the program. I pressed a key on the throttle pro and the program behaved funny. Well, I went into the gameport properties to calibrate it and also tried to load "speedkeys", and one, speedkeys does not see the throttle and two, the calibration window will not close. After reading up on the CH Products support site, the only thing I found out is that winxp does not support non-usb throttle. Yet for many months things worked fine. Does anyone have a non usb throttle pro with xp? I am stumped as to why everything worked and now only the yoke and rudders work, but no throttle and buttons.tony

Tony,Did you try renaming (in case that's not the problem) the control.txt file in your Fly! II root directory and letting Fly! II create a new one? I've had to do this a couple of times.Hope this helps!http://www.avsim.com/hangar/fly/dfdg/banneraa.jpg

thanks for the suggestion. I had corrupted the throttle drivers. I am using FLY1 sound files and , for some reason, at one point during a test flight of my Electra, the throttle began to act up. I reinstalled the ch throttle drivers, specifically, the programmed key files, and things went back to normal...tony
