I have been trying to utilize the ILS function while using the 747-300. I have tried several different things, none have worked for me. Are there any basic steps that someone can reccomend?Andy

I started doing ILS landing whith smaller models, then the Hawker and later the big ones. I'm speaking for Fly 2K, but it should work on similar models in Fly II. I took me a while to get things straight, so be patient and practice. After two years I finally learned how to use approach hold on the autopilot. An example: the ILS is on RWY 12. Go around the airport so that you have it 10 nm DME to the left and bearing 125 - 130 degrees. Turn left to 140 and hold the altitude 3000.
