Dan Larson's DEAAL 172 Repaint

Featured Replies

I don't know if any of you have had a chance to download this very excellent repaint yet, but I'm having a rather strange problem. This 172 is bouncing from front to rear while on the ground in external view. It's especially noticeable during run-up and taxing from within the cockpit view. Just wanted to confirm this with another Mac user to see if some ad-on I have may be causing this. Rich,I have it too. It starts bouncing before I start the engine. Flies OK, but this isn't good behavoir on the ground, considering that a repant should not affect the flight model.

Allan,Remove the "FLYHAWK.WHL" from your World folder. Oddly enough, this is affecting both of Dan Larson's recent 172 repaints. Rich@KLEWBeige G3 233 MHz DT rev.1 G4 400 MHz NewerTech upgrade OS 9.2.2 /Jaguar384 MB RAM ATI Radeon Mac (PCI) Thrustmaster FCS/WCS

Was that part of the Flyhawk updates? whl is a wheel file, as I recall.

It's an add-on from Rob Young's September 2001, Flyhawk Interim Fix No 1 for Fly II.Rich@KLEWBeige G3 233 MHz DT rev.1 G4 400 MHz NewerTech upgrade OS 9.2.2 /Jaguar384 MB RAM ATI Radeon Mac (PCI) Thrustmaster FCS/WCS
