Urban blackout

Featured Replies

Hello, I have noticed the urban areas of New York City, Washington DC, San Francisco and Paris France remain dark at night, while others, like Chicago, Boston, LA, and Denver lightup. Is this normal?Mike

Mike,I could be mistaken, but I think that TRI did not have the time to complete night lighting in some areas before Fly! II was released.Rich@KLEWBeige G3 233 MHz DT rev.1 G4 400 MHz NewerTech upgrade OS 9.2.2 /Jaguar384 MB RAM ATI Radeon Mac (PCI) Thrustmaster FCS/WCS

That's true, the TRI Hi-Res scenery is sans night mask. If you remove the TRI Hi-Res scenery, you'll get night lighting, but it'll be generic scenery.-----------------------Scott CannizzaroPPASEL-KTEB

Scott,As I am new to all this where in the sim is this change made?Mike

It's the area-specific folder in Fly>Scenery>newyork, etc.
