Adding a new runway in Fly!II in a Mac (system 10.2.6)

Featured Replies

Hello, Can anyone tell me how can I add, step by step, a new runway (I know the coordinates, the position, the paviment type, the size,... everything!) in a new place, not in an existing airport?I tried to see in the scenery editor, read the manuals but... I coudn't understand how can I do it!I must have another software?Thank you(I'm sorry my english I' writting from Lisbon, Portugal)Antonio Carmona

Welcome Antonio!Your English is much better than my Portugese! No apologies necessary--this is a truly international forum. The best place to post this question is in the Fly! Developers' Forum, just below this one in the Main Forum list. The people who routinely do scenery are active there.I don't believe the Scenery editor does runways; it just allows placement of certain stock 3-D models at airports. There is an airport database that is probably where any runway change needs to be made. The guys in the Developers' Forum can tell you.Out of curiosity, what kind of Mac are you running?Again, welcome!

Hello Allan!Thank you!Bom dia!I'll teach you some Portuguese if you want...;)I'm new in Fly!II. Made some chagements and add ons that you advise in these forum and it improved a lot, but there is much more add-ons for windows than for mac!I lerned a little bit how to fly, and I'm courious about how to manage the scenery, and there is no tutorials about it! there is?I'll follow you advise and post the same question on the developers forum.I'm running a G4 iMac-1Ghz-768Ram with the system OSX 10.2.6. It's stable but crashes a bit with some planes that aren't native Fly!II. I didn't found in what specific point.Thank you again and hope earing from you!Ant
