Default Start with Planes Off

Featured Replies

I am sure this has been asked before, but is there a way to start FS2k2 with the planes all shut down? I can even find the option when generating a new flight. Thanks!

Simply create a flight with the plane where you want it, shut down the engines and then save the flight. You can make it the default flight if you want so that you don't have to manually load it each time.MikeKOCF

One additional tip here...If you make it your defualt flight and have FS2K2 start up in the create a flight mode, the default will be loaded with the current date and time. I believe that if you choose it from the Load Flight menu, it will use whatever date and time the flight was saved at.My default flight starts with my favorite airplane, at my favorite airport and dead cold.Another side note...Even if you load another craft, it will start cold also.

Very good tip - thanksMyles
