December 2, 200223 yr Colin,The only ShapeFile (actually e00) data in UTM format that I am aware of is the Canadian data:http://geogratis.cgdi.gc.ca/CLI/frames.htmlTodd
December 3, 200223 yr Colin, Todd,You can get UTM as well as Lat/Long format detailed shapefile data here: http://www.webgis.com. It's only for the U.S. though. You can get landcover data (not so detailed) for the rest of the world here:http://www.cipotato.org/diva/data/DataServer.htm. It is in grid format but the site (DIVA-GIS) has a free program that will, among other things, export grid data in a shapefile format. I don't know if it can do so as UTM. If nothing else it's fun to look at the different countries. Take a look at Nepal -- very pretty. (The data on both sites are free -- and Todd, if you read this, anyway to get Terrascene to accept/recognize the 7.5 DEM data for Hawaii available at the webgis site?)Don
