Does anyone know what causes this?Here is a problem I have been having with Big Bear Lake, CA. In the foreground is the lake, the furthest portion of which we are seeing through. Behind that, the mountains which surround the lake. Yeah, its kinda depressing. I've just got a GeForce 3 for christmas, and it was my understanding it was a good card. :( Used to have an old ATI card that had transparency issues with Fly! 2k. Kinda bummed that I finally get a new card, and Fly still has weird transparency problem. LOL this time the reverse. Too much transparency.

Oh, BTW:I was hoping I could just remove my terrascene pod, to check if the lake still had these problems. Doh... there are no lakes in the default scenery! :/

I have this problem too.But I do have a low end video card which just copes with Fly!II in all low settings. So I would expect this problem. Brad,I terrascened KPSP to KONT which include the the Big bear area with no problem at all.Here's a pix.chrisrpll

Have you flow to that airport?This only occurs when Im close to the ground.
