April 21, 200323 yr Check the main Terminal on the pic...I have attached a thin, long element (a spline converted to mesh)to simulate the wooden beams carrying the roof. They are attached just on the outside of the side walls. My problem is all the wooden plates are blinking when I see the scenery from a distance, and for some weird reason I see this most often from looking North, looking South is OK. In the pic you can see the beam is distorted, looking East this time...Is there a solution to stop this blinking? Hope so, it is so much easier attaching the wood as elements, instead of fighting it into the main texture...Well if you help me out on this one I`ll give you this airport for free :)
April 21, 200323 yr Andrew, I can't answer your question, but can you tell me how you mange to upload full screen views when I am forced to reduce the size and resolution so much so as to be under the 128k limit. I capture it as a bmp file, convert it to jpg, but I can't seem to get below 400k or so--even with little scenery shots. I used to be able to do it, but I put together a new computer with Ifran view. I am sure it's some kind of setting that I forgot.tony
April 22, 200323 yr It's probably the jpg compression setting. I think 15% is a good place to start trying. Some programs term it differently, but all, infraView included (which I used to use) should have a slider... whichever end it is currently at, move it a bit more toward the center.Hope that helps,Brad
April 23, 200323 yr thanks Brad. That's exactly what I had forgotten about. I located the compression slider and I am back to normal.tony
